How it Flows

Once we’ve confirmed I’m available for your date, we’ll have a no-obligation, casual chat over Zoom to properly introduce ourselves and get to know each other a little. This informal catch-up is just to qualify whether I’m the celebrant for you and to ask any preliminary questions.

  • You both agree I’m the right fit and you’ll lock me in with my booking fee (20% of the total package price) – I’ll send you my Service Agreement and give you access to the Lovers Portal on my website. Here you’ll find an abundance of resources to spark ceremony inspiration, personalised vow advice, readings and poems and importantly, a space to individually fill out your Lovers Questionnaires to help me create the most bespoke and meaningful ceremony, tailored to you. This portal has been carefully curated from me to you, for you to explore in your own time and take or leave as you wish.

  • (or sooner if your wedding is approaching quickly).

We meet in person for a coffee or wine so I can get to know you both on a deeper level and hear about all things ‘engagement and wedding’. We’ll fill in some important paperwork (i.e. NOIM) and discuss the finer details of your ceremony.

  • Your final invoice will be due by this date. I then always suggest a third and final catch up over Zoom within two weeks of your ceremony for a brief run-through in lieu of a physical rehearsal. All of the practical parts and logistics of the ceremony are confirmed, and by this point I have woven in all of the magic from your Lovers Questionnaire responses to finalise your script. You’ll have the opportunity to adjust or tweak this and have final sign-off (or- if you’re into surprises, leave it with me to share with you on the big day). You’ll leave this chat feeling reassured and excited for the big day!

  • I’ll arrive about an hour before your ceremony starts and I will sound check my PA system, familiarise myself with your vendors, check in with the two of you, liaise with your guests, and warm everyone up pre-ceremony so that your guests are elated with excitement waiting for your wedding to kick off. I’ll then deliver your beautifully curated ceremony and we’ll finalise the legal paperwork (i.e. Official Certificates of Marriage & Form 15), to leave you partying on the night away.

  • Within 3 business days, I’ll lodge your paperwork with Births Deaths and Marriages so your marriage is legally recognised. You’ll get an email from me with the application details and you’ll receive your Official Marriage Certificate in the mail within 6-8 weeks. I’ll also supply you with a Name Change document to help guide you on the process. And we'll likely keep in touch and feel like the best of friends after sharing the most special day of your lives with me!
